Kleenway Services members ratify wage increase and additional sick days

The members at Kleenway Services in North York ratified a three-year deal on December 9, 2022. These workers will see wage increases of $0.70/hour in each of the three years of the agreement. Workers will also receive a lump sum Christmas Bonus of $200.

Additional improvements include:

• Two sick days added
• National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Remembrance Day added to the list of paid holidays
• Shoe allowance increases to $150 every 2 years
• Employees can leave early and will receive a full days pay on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
