Cintas Canada members in Cambridge ratify a new deal with pandemic language

Cintas Canada Cambridge members ratified a new collective agreement on August 18th, 2021 that will have a term of 2 years. Wage increases are as follows: Year one – 3% retro to July 1st, 2021 and Year Two – 3%.

RRSP improvement will be an increase in Year one from $100 week to $105 per week and in Year Two from $105 to $110/per week. The healthcare spending for chiropractor, massage therapy etc. will increase to a $1500 maximum up from $1000 and the per visit allowance will increase from $50 to $75.

The boot allowance will increase from $200 to $260.

Language improvements were made to the following articles:  vacation, sunset clause, return to work representation, schedule change, the addition of brother and sister-in-law in the bereavement clause and a Letter of Agreement added about pandemic planning. The contribution to the Training and Education fund will also increase.
