Vishay Precision Kelk ratifies significant wage increases and improvements to benefits and language with new collective agreement.
The members at Vishay Precision Kelk in Toronto unanimously ratified a three-year agreement on December 22, 2025.
This deal secures yearly wage increase for the industrial manufacturing workers of:
- Year 1 – 4%,
- Year 2 – 3%
- Year 3 – 3.25%.
- There will also be a signing bonus of $325.
New: employees with more than 10 years of service can contribute to the group RRSP to a maximum of 4.5% per year.
Language improvements include:
- Both the Orthotic and Optical coverage have increased from $400 to $500.
- Sick days increase from 7 to 8 days.
- Safety footwear allowance increases from $200 to $350 every two years for a maximum of two pairs.
- Paramedical Maximum increased from $1500 to $2000.
- Paramedical services are subject to a maximum of $500 per paramedical practitioner per insured person each calendar year, and $2,000 per insured person per calendar year.
- Bereavement Leave increases from 3 to 5 days.
