Sudbury Wholesale Club ratifies wage increases and language improvements with new collective agreement.

Members working at the Wholesale Club in Sudbury ratified a five-year agreement on May 13, 2024. Over the term of the agreement full-time workers will receive wage increases of $4.50/hour and part-time workers will receive $3.20/hour. There will also be minimum wage plus language for part-time at end rate.

Wholesale Club Sudbury ratifies

Full time members will receive a lump sum payment of $1000, part-time at end rate $500 and part-time in progression $100.

Pension improvements include a $100 per year increase in the RRSP contributions for full-time.

Language improvements include:

  • Improved safety footwear language.
  • Employer to pay for doctors note.
  • New Personal Day for newly hired full-time.
  • Stronger protection against unfair discipline.
  • Time allotted for stewards to provide orientation to new employees.
  • Employer to share cost of printing collective agreement.
