Stampede Culinary Partners ratifies wage and shift premium increases, floater holiday and important language regarding vacation pay with new collective agreement.

Stampede Culinary Partners in Cambridge ratified a three-year agreement on August 10, 2024. Members will receive wage increases in Year 1 – $1.00, Year 2 – $0.65, and Year 3 -$0.65. Shift premiums will also increase in Year 1 – $0.10, Year 2 – $0.15, and Year 3 – $0.25.

Language improvements include:

  • Vision care coverage will increase from $250 to $350.
  • Boot Allowance will increase from $150 to $200.
  • One paid Floater Day for all employees that have passed probation.
  • A sixth week of vacation will be added for all employees with 24+ years of service.
  • The Meal Allowance will increase from $10 to $12.
  • There will be a Letter of Understanding for the Apprentice Training Program

An important proposal from the membership was to have their vacation returned to accrual; workers currently receive their vacation pay on each pay. We are happy to report we were successful in achieving this important change for the membership and members will now be paid when they take their vacation.
