Security screeners at Thunder Bay airport ratify

GardaWorld Security Screening working in the Thunder Bay airport ratified a three-year agreement on November 11, 2022. Members will see yearly increases as follows: Year 1: 2.75%,  Year 2: 3% and in Year 3:  3%  which will bring the hourly rate to $25.00/hour in year three of the agreement. Members will also receive a $500.00 Lump Sum payment. The Team Leader Premium will increase from $1.00 to $1.50 per hour.

Language improvements include that overtime will be paid when required to work for the 8^th day in a row, the schedule will be bi-weekly and the employer will have to issue discipline within 10 days.
