Saturn Integrated Logistics ratifies wage increases, improved shift premiums and paid personal days.

The 120 full-time employees at Saturn Integrated Logistics in Toronto ratified a three-year agreement on March 23, 2023. These members will see a general wage adjustment in Year 1 – 6%, Year 2 – 2.5% and Year 3 – 2.5%. The shift premiums for all shifts will increase by 20% to a maximum of $1.00. Additionally, there will be a new HSIL premium of $.50 per hour and a new weekend premium of $1.00 per hour.

Members who have ten years of service or more will receive a lump sum payment of $1000 in each year of the agreement. There will be a signing bonus of $850 per person after ratification. New language was also negotiated to allow members to move up the 36-month wage progression before formally achieving their work anniversary.

Other language improvements include:

  • Safety boot allowance increase from $200 to $250 per year.
  • Increase in the number of stewards from 3 to 6.
  • NEW – two paid personal days for all employees to be taken at their own discretion.
