R. Fiedler members in Simcoe ratify significant wage increases

The members at R. Fiedler Meats in Simcoe ratified a three-year agreement on March 3, 2023 with wage increases of 13% over the course of the agreement for all classifications as follows: Year 1 – 6.5% retroactive to February 4, 2023, Year 2 – 3.25% and Year 3 – 3.25%.
There will be an increase to the employer hourly contributions to the pension plan of $0.04 cents in each year of the agreement. The optical allowance will also increase from $275.00 to $350.00 every 24 months.
