National Diabetes Trust ratifies to improve wages for members in the Region of Peel with new collective agreement.
The membership employed by National Diabetes Trust – Peel Region in Mississauga ratified a three-year agreement on May 21, 2025.
After a difficult set of bargaining where there were numerous concessions proposed by the employer, we were successful in negotiating a collective agreement with no reductions in language or benefits.
The members will receive wage increases of 9% across all classifications over the term of the agreement with a 4.5% increase in the first year. These workers will also receive a signing bonus of $750.00.
