Kleenway Services ratifies

Kleenway Services ratifies yearly wage increases and improvements to language and vacation entitlement with new collective agreement.

Kleenway Services workers in North York unanimously ratified a three-year agreement on December 8, 2025.

This deal secures wage increase in each year of the agreement with an increase of $3.00 per hour over the term. Additionally new language was achieved to ensure that no wage will be less than 75 cents above minimum wage. The lead hand premium will also increase from 50 cents to $1.00 per hour.

Other language improvements include:

• The holiday bonus will increase from $200 to $250.
• There will be and additional sick day for a total of nine days.
• Bereavement leave increase from 4 to 5 days.
• The shoe allowance will increase from $150 to $175 every two years.
• New: employees who have completed 20 years of service will receive an additional week of vacation entitlement for six weeks vacation.
