Coleman Care ratifies

Coleman Care ratifies wage, and shift premium increases with special wage adjustments for RPNs in new collective agreement.
The HOPE sector healthcare membership at Coleman Care Centre in Barrie unanimously ratified a two-year agreement on December 5, 2025.
Members will receive wages increases in each year of 3.5% retroactive to February 2025. There will be a special wage adjustment for RPNs in year one of $1.25 per hour and a second adjustment after the second general wage adjustment in February 2026 is applied of $1.25 per hour.
The night shift premium will increase by 10 cents per hour in August 2026, and the weekend premium will increase from 25 to 35 cents per hour following date of ratification.
