Caleres Canada ratifies

Caleres Canada ratifies yearly wage increases, gains in dental coverage and language improvements with new contract.

Caleres Canada Inc. in Perth ratified a three-year agreement on December 9, 2025.

The members will receive yearly increases of 2% with the first increase retroactive to date of expiry October 25, 2025.

We were successful in improving dental coverage in the following areas:

• Fee updated to current year – up from current minus three years.
• Waiting period for new full-time employees reduced to 3 months down from 12 months.
• Dentures to be included in coverage.
• Major Restorative Services increased to $3,470.00 per year.

Other language improvements include:

• Boot/Clothing allowance increased from $120.00 to $150.00 per year.
• One additional paid sick day for a total of seven days – new hires to receive sick days after working full-time for six months.
• Optical coverage increased to $500.00 every two years.
