Wadland Pharmacies Ratifies

Wadland Pharmacies ratifies significant wage increase, RRSP improvements and language gains with new contract.
The membership working at Wadland (Loblaw) Pharmacies, located in ten stores across northeastern Ontario ratified a five-year agreement on January 15, 2026.

This deal secures significant wage increases for full and part-time workers of:
- Full time at end rate increases by $4.50/hour over the term.
- Full-time over end rate increases by at least $3.20/hour.
- Part-time at end rate increases to $2.00 over minimum wage.
- Part-time over end rate increases by $3.20/hour.
All members will receive a signing bonus as follows: full-time – $800, part-time at end rate – $400, all other part-time workers – $100.
Benefit improvements will see an increase to annual RRSP contributions of $425 in 2027, $450 in 2028 and $475 for 2029 thru 2031.
Sick day allowance will increase to two sick days paid at 100%, an improvement from three days paid at 50%.
