Southampton Flour Mill ratifies

Southampton Flour ratifies new agreement to improve wages and benefits for mill workers.
Southampton Flour Mill Inc. unanimously ratified a three-year agreement on July 21, 2025.
Wages for these workers will improve each year for a 6.5% increase over the term of the agreement. The supervisor responsibility premium will increase from $1.50 to $2.50 per hour.
Benefit improvements include an increase to the Health Care Spending Account to $1200.00, and vision care allowance up to $600.00 every two years up from $400.00. Dental contributions increase by 10 cents to 52 cents per hour.
The employer contribution to the Training and Education Fund will increase to $250.00 yearly.
A severance package will be included in collective agreement language reflecting the ESA of one week pay for each year service up to a maximum of 26 weeks.
