Recently, seventy-eight Union members at P&H Milling in Cambridge achieved a new agreement, which ratified on July 7, 2018.
The parties met in conciliation to work out details on wages and benefits. As a result, employees will see across-the-board increases of 2% in each year of the contract term.
The negotiating committee was also able to maintain the current pension plan. Plus, the committee enhanced the dental coverage maximum for the bargaining unit. In addition, the safety boot allowance will increase as well. New language addresses weekend drive work, and new provisions outline a 12-hour continental work-week.
Thanks to the Members of the Union Negotiating Committee: Larry Luckhardt, Howard McCutcheon, Patrick Nadan, and Mark Whitehall, plus Union Rep Sam Caetano.
