North Bay Humane Society ratifies significant wage increases and language improvements with new contract.
The membership at the North Bay Humane Society ratified a three-year agreement on January 6, 2025.
This deal secures wage increases for members of 9% over the term of the agreement, which are the largest increases these workers have achieved in recent rounds of negotiations.
Language improvements include:
- NEW – float day for all employees with more than three years of service.
- NEW – supervisor premium.
- Improved on-call pay.
