Members in London at Military Family Resource Centre ratify

Southwestern Ontario Family Resource Centre in London ratified a new collective agreement on July 24, 2022 with a term of three-years. Wages increase as follows:
- Band 1 (students, clerical): 5.9% on Apr 1, 2022, 2% on Apr 1, 2023, 2% on Apr 1, 2024
- Band 2 (info referral, clerk): 2% on Apr 1, 2022, 2% on Apr 1, 2023, 2% on Apr 1, 2024
- Band 3 (coordinators): 2% on Apr 1, 2022, 2% on Apr 1, 2023, 2% on Apr 1, 2024
- Family Liaison Officer: 1% on Apr 1, 2022, 1% on Apr 1, 2023, 1% on Apr 1, 2024
Language improvements include the recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to be included as a paid holiday and the addition of all step family members to bereavement leave stipulation (5 days). In addition, we were able to clear up some language on unit jurisdiction being under provincial legislation.
