Members at Budget Car Inc. in Etobicoke ratify and recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

A new three-year agreement was ratified by the approximately 60 members at Budget Car Inc. on October 7, 2021 during a very difficult time for those working in the car rental industry. Members will receive a $1.95 wage increase over the term of the agreement retroactive to September 1, 2021.
Health and Welfare improvements will see an increase to Vision Care from $325.00 to $360.00 and an increase to the Shoe Allowance to $130.00 up from $120.00.
For seniority purposes, after working 110 hours part time employees will be considered as having equivalent to one month’s service.
The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation will be added to the list of holidays.
