Lakeside retirement ratifies wage and premium increases with new collective agreement.
Lakeside Retirement HOPE Sector members in Innisfil ratified a three-year agreement on July 23, 2024.
Members will receive wage increases of 10.5% over the term of the contract. There will be special wage adjustments for the PSW start rate from $16.23 to $18.70 and to the RPN start rate from $21.90 to $24.00.
At date of ratification the night shift premium will increase from 15 cents to 20 cents per hour. The UCP premium will increase from 50 cents to $1.00 per hour, and the cook premium will increase from 30 cents 45 cents per hour for the Dietary Aides that perform breakfast.
The employer contributions to the dental plan will increase by one cent from $.36 to $.37 for all hours worked.
There will be an additional paid sick day for a total of 13 days, and bereavement leave for in-laws will increase from one day to two days.
