Knollcrest Lodge ratifies wage increase and new weekend premium with renewed collective agreement.
Knollcrest Lodge in Milverton ratified a three-year agreement on July 24, 2024 after a difficult set of negotiations.
Hope Sector members at this retirement and long-term care facility will receive wage increases of: Year 1 – 3.5%, Year 2 – 3.5% and Year 3 – 3.5%. Prior to the Year 1 increases there will be a special wage adjustment for RPNs of $1.50 and for PSWs the $3.00 permanent wage enhancement introduced by the Ontario government will be enshrined into the wage grid.
At date of ratification there will be a new weekend premium of $.10 increasing to $.20 in 2025.
Language regarding casual employees will be clarified in the collective agreement.
