Fin Aire Ratifies

Fin Aire ratifies wage protection language, significant wage increases, and improvements to boot and clothing allowance with new deal.
Fin Aire in Belleville unanimously ratified a new collective agreement with a four-year term on January 27, 2026.
Wages for the members at all rates and progressions will increase in each year of the contract as follows:
- Year 1 – 4%.
- Year 2 – 3.5%.
- Year 3 – 3.5%.
- Year 4 – 3%.
Additionally, in each year of the term on January 20th, should the CPI (Consumer Price Index) for the previous calendar year in Canada, be greater than 4%, then the above rates will be adjusted to whichever is greater.
The safety boot and clothing allowance will increase by 11%.
