Erinview Retirement ratifies to secure wage increases and eliminate bottom tier of wage grid
Erinview Retirement Home members in Mississauga unanimously ratified a two-year agreement on April 2, 2024. As a result, members will receive general wage increases of 3.5% in each year of the contract.
We were successful in negotiating the elimination of one tier of the wage grid, and there will be an increase to the weekend premium of 20 cents/hour upon ratification.
The uniform allowance will increase from $11.25 to $12.00 for every 150 hours worked.
Members will now have the ability to save one bereavement day for use at a later time.
