Best Service Pro Conestoga College ratifies

Best Service Pro workers at Conestoga College ratify wage increases, language and benefit improvements with new contract.
The membership working for BEST Service Pro at Conestoga College in Kitchener and Guelph ratified a three-year agreement on November 22, 2025.
Members will receive wage increases of $2.60 over the term of the agreement with the first payment retroactive to November 9, 2025, and then an increase every six months.
Workers will be eligible for benefits after completing their probation period and the annual maximum for dental benefits will increase from $1500 to $2000.
Other language improvements and gains include:
- The eye exam fee coverage increases from $80 to $100.
- Coverage for eye glasses increases from $250 to $350.
- Vacation entitlement will improve as follows:
- 5-10 years improved to 5-8 years paid at 6% – 3 weeks
- 10-20 years improved to 8-15 years paid at 8% – 4 weeks
- 20 years improved to 15 years paid at 10% – 5 weeks
- An additional personal day for a total of 3 days.
- New language will be added regarding Supervisors not doing bargaining unit work.
- Uniforms will be supplied.
- The boot allowance increases from $70 to $75.
- Sunset Clause: the reference to Health and Safety disciplines staying on file forever is deleted.
- NEW: language that allows the employee to choose to take paid vacation or an unpaid day for storage of work – not mandated.
