Amphora Maintenance Services ratifies

Amphora Maintenance Services ratifies yearly wage increases, improved vacation entitlement and language gains with new collective agreement.
The membership at Amphora Maintenance Services Inc. in Pickering unanimously ratified a three-year agreement on December 30, 2024. Members will receive wage increase that will average 8% per year over the term of the contract. Additionally, all members will receive a $100 signing bonus.
The Lead Hand Premium will increase from $1.00 to $1.60 per hour, and the Night Shift Premium will increase from $.60 to $1.10 per hour.
The employers’ matching contribution to RRSPs will also increase.
Language improvements include:
- NEW: vacation entitlement of six weeks after 20 years at 12%, and 7 weeks after 25 years at 14%.
- Safety footwear allowance will increase from $80 to $110.
- Full-time will receive a new wellness day.
- The float day allowance will increase from four to five.
- NEW: No discrimination and No harassment language.
- NEW: Previous disciplinary documentation in an employee’s personnel file, will not be used if an employee has maintained twelve consecutive months of undocumented discipline.
