During this round of bargaining, the Union Negotiating Committee achieved a number of improvements that were important to the membership including a substantial increase to bereavement entitlement and improvements to language surrounding grievance time limits.

Both full and part-time employees will see wage increases of 3.5% in year one, 3.25% in year two, and 3%% in year three. The first-year increase will be paid retroactive for hours worked since June 1, 2026. In addition, members will also benefit from improved mileage reimbursement of $0.73 per kilometre, up from $0.58.

This agreement now contains new language ensuring the availability of menstrual products for all employees at no cost.
