April 24, 2026

Saturn Logistics members in Etobicoke have secured a three-year deal at a ratification vote held earlier in April.
The 110 full-time employees achieved important improvements with this round of bargaining including wage and other monetary increases as well as enhanced language provisions.
Members will see raises of 3% in year one plus a one-time signing bonus of $1,000. Subsequent increases provide 3% in year two and another 3% in year three. Those employees with 10 years of seniority or more will receive an additional lump sum bonus of $1,000 per year. In addition, members will now receive their pay weekly.
A new Training premium will pay $0.50 per hour on top of an employee’s regular rate. Plus, other shift premiums improve to provide:
- $1 per hour, up from $0.75, for Afternoons;
- $1.25 per hour, up from $1, for Nights, and;
- $1.25 per hour, up from $1, for Weekends.
Important language improvements include an increase to the number of workers permitted off on vacation at one time, and a reduced Sunset Clause of 15 months, down from 18 months. Plus, members will benefit from an extended paid lunch period of 30 minutes instead of the previous 25 minutes.
