Aramark St. Edmund members vote to ratify
On February 11, 2026, the membership working full-time for Aramark at St. Edmund Campion in Brampton ratified a renewal agreement that will see them through the next three years.
Wages will improve for the members across the board by 3.75% in year one, 3.25% in year two, and 3% in year three. The first increase of 3.75% will be paid retroactive for all hours worked since January 1, 2026. In addition, the Lead Hand premium increases to $2.65 per hour, up from $2.50.
This agreement will see the introduction of important Minimum Wage Plus (MW+) language which ensures that employees will never receive less than $0.25 per hour over the provincial minimum wage.
Language improvements reduce the cost-share for the workers’ Health & Welfare plan, and bereavement entitlement improves to include one day’s leave for the death of an aunt or uncle. Further improvements will see the addition of one floater day, effective September 1, 2026.
