Jayden Findlay – Food Basics

Jayden Findlay works at Food Basics in Ottawa. Jayden has been at the store for almost six years, and believes that one of the benefits of working in a unionized workplace is that it’s better to advocate collectively than alone.

Jayden is a steward and says he wanted to take on the role to be able to better assist his co-workers with any issues in the workplace, and also familiarize them with their rights in the collective agreement. Jayden attended stewards’ orientation training and looks forward to more training opportunities including the courses offered on UFCW Web Campus.
