Windermere ratifies

Windermere ratifies significant wage increases and language improvements with new collective agreement.
The HOPE Sector members working at Windermere on the Mount retirement home in London unanimously ratified a three-year agreement on March 31, 2025.
This deal secures an entirely new wage grid which will result in increases ranging from 12% – 25% over the term as follows:
- Housekeeping/Laundry – 15.6%
- Dishwashers – 25%
- Maintenance – 15.6%
- Assistant Cook – 12.3%
- Cook – 15.6%
- Dietary Aide – 16%
Language improvements include:
- Increase to vision care of $75.
- Additional sick day for both full and part-time.
- NEW – weekend premium.
- Sixth week of vacation entitlement.
