Ottawa Flyer Force ratifies wage increases and language improvements with new contact.

Ottawa Flyer Force ratified a two-year agreement on March 11, 2025. Employees will maintain the current MW + grid and on November 2, 2025 will receive wage increases of 5% or 9% depending on their classification.

The employer will maintain current health and dental benefits, pay retroactive premium increases to date of expiry, and 100% of the life coverage premiums.

Language improvements include:

• Increase to the safety footwear allowance to $140.00.
• Employer agrees that no new substance, material, agent or chemical shall be introduced in the workplace environment without a complete review by and approval of the joint health and safety committee.
• Improved health and safety language including ongoing training.
• If an employee is injured at work, and requires medical attention where the physician indicates they are unable to work, will be paid for the balance of their scheduled hours.
