Quattro Hotel and Conference Centre members in Sault Ste. Marie ratified a three-year agreement on November 23, 2022.
The members will see wages increases of between $1.50 – $2.00/hour (depending on classification) over the term of the agreement. These increases mean that these members will achieve the highest pay rates in the city of Sault Ste. Marie for hotel workers.
Benefit improvements include the introduction of a Dental Plan for all Full-time employees, eye exams will be fully covered as well as $300 in coverage for lenses and frames every 24 months for Full and Part-time employees with over 5 years of service.
Other language improvements include:
- $200 boot allowance for maintenance and $100 shoe allowance for all other departments
- 50% off meals in the restaurant any time of day
- Improved language regarding restaurant classifications,
- housekeeping room assignments,
- call-offs and
- vacation scheduling.
- 3 days paid absence for a proven case of COVID-19
