Bayfield Manor workers achieve wage and premium increases through HLDAA

A Hospital Labour Dispute Arbitration Act award dated February 22, 2024 provides the long-term care and retirement home members in Kemptville at Bayfield Manor a new two-year collective agreement with improvements of:

• General wage increases of 7% over the two-year term.
• Adjustment of $.50/hour to the RPN wage rate.
• Weekend premium is increased to forty-five cents per hour.
• Effective September 14, 2022: enshrine the PSW wage enhancement into the wage grid for eligible employees (PSWs employed in the nursing home).
