Imperial Parking members ratify wage and language improvements  

Imperial Parking members in Toronto, Ajax and Pickering ratified a three-year agreement on November 21, 2023.

Members will receive wage increases as follows:

• Year 1 – 6% retroactive to date of expiry,
• Year 2 – 5%, and
• Year 3 – 3%.

The night shift premium will also increase to $2.00 up from $1.50.

Benefit improvements include increased vision care allowance, improved paramedical for full-time and the drug dispensing fee cap will be increased.

Language improvements include:

• The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation will be added to the list of holidays.
• Call in language improvements.
• Bumping language to have three days paid when not provided working notice and temporary bumping language to be discussed and resolved.
• Reduced sunset clause from 18 to 16 months.
