Erin Mills Lodge ratifies significant wage increases and avoids an imposed Hospital Labour Disputes Arbitration Act decision with new collective agreement.

The HOPE sector workers at Erin Mills Lodge in Mississauga ratified a three-year deal on October 24, 2024.

In Year 1 members will receive a general wage increase of 3.5% and an additional 3.5% in Year 2. In Year 3 members will receive a general increase of 3.5% in April and another 1% in October with the exception of RNS who will receive increases of approximately $8.00 over the term of the agreement. 

There will be special wage adjustments for RPNs of $0.50 per hour to be applied before the first wage increase and an additional adjustment of $1.00 applied after the Year 3 increase.  

The PSW Permanent Wage Enhancement will be enshrined into the wage grid before the first wage increase and there will also be a special adjustment of $0.25 per hour for PSWs effective on the first full pay period following the date of ratification.

This deal also secures a new weekend premium effective April 1, 2025 of 55 cents per hour.
