Aramark Woodstock Hospital ratifies
November 4, 2025
Aramark Woodstock Hospital ratifies wage increases, benefit improvements and paid sick days with new contract.
The membership employed by Aramark at the Woodstock Hospital ratified a three-year agreement on October 17, 2025.
Wages for the members will increase by 12% across all classifications at date of ratification, retroactive to June 4, 2025. Then there will be a 3% increase in each year of the term for the duration of the agreement. We have also secured new minimum wage plus language to ensure wages will maintain a gap of at least 25 cents above the provincial minimum wage.
In benefit improvements the employer contribution rate for health and dental benefits will increase to 80% up from 70%.
We were also successful in gaining paid sick days for full-time members in this round of bargaining; an important achievement for these workers.
The uniform allowance will increase to $50 up from $40, and non-slip shoe coverage will now be $80 per year up from $70. Additionally, the receiver classification will have an allowance of $100 up from $70 for steel toed shoes each year.
Union negotiating committee: Samantha Grimshaw and Courtney Walton. Union representative John Beaton and Servicing representative Skip Pavlick.
