Aramark members ratify in Lindsay

Aramark members ratify in Lindsay securing yearly wage increases and improved language with new collective agreement.
The membership employed by Aramark Canada Ltd., working at Sir Sandford Fleming College Frost Campus in Lindsay ratified a three-year agreement on October 29, 2025.
Wages for the members will improve by 3% in each year of the collective agreement. We have also secured new minimum wage plus language to ensure wages will maintain a gap of at least 25 cents above the provincial minimum wage.
Other language improvements and gains include:
- Anti slip shoe allowance increases from $85 to $95.
- Eye Exam coverage improves from $80 to $100.
- Vision coverage increased from $350 to $375.00 in March 2026.
- Bereavement leave improved from 3 to 5 days.
- Uncle and Aunt will be added to bereavement leave language.
- Increased shoe allowance from $50 to $75.
- There will be an additional sick day available beginning March 1, 2026.
