Access Alliance ratifies significant wage increases, and improvements to benefits and professional development funding with new collective agreement.

The HOPE Sector Community Healthcare members at Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services in Toronto ratified a three-year agreement on December 1, 2025.

Wages for the members will increase in each year as follows: Year 1 – 2.75% with a .75% wage adjustment, retroactive from the date of expiry, Year 2 – 2.5% with a 0.5% wage adjustment and Year 3 – 2% increase. Additionally medical secretaries will receive a wage adjustment in step 6 of 80 cents per hour.

The wellness benefit will increase from $50.00 to $150.00 per year, a sought-out improvement for these workers who were seeking access to more funds that can be used towards counselling and self care.

Language improvements include:

  • Mileage increases from 54 cents to 72 cents per kilometre.
  • The professional development funds will increase on April 1, 2026 by $100 to $700. Employees also have the option to make a special request to use next year’s professional development allotment for circumstances where the cost of the training or tuition exceeds seven hundred dollars.
