Crown Ridge ratifies new contract

HOPE Sector healthcare workers in Trenton ratify wage increases and benefit improvements with new collective agreement.
On June 27, 2025, the HOPE Sector healthcare members at Crown Ridge Place, Long-term care home in Trenton ratified a two-year agreement.
This deal secures general wage increases on April 1, 2025 of 3.5% and there will be an additional $3.00/hour increase to RPN wages. There will also be a 50-cent increase to Activity Aides for those who are qualified and or on staff as of date of ratification. On April 1, 2026, the members will receive another general wage increase of 3.5%. The weekend premium will also increase to 50 cents per hour.
Benefit improvements include an increase in vison coverage to $400, and orthotic coverage will increase to $200. The employer contribution to the dental plan will improve by 2 cents per hour.
