The members at Ready Bake in Mississauga have a new collective agreement

Mississauga Ready Bake members ratified a new three-year agreement on March 12, 2022. Wage increase are: March 12,2022 – $0.57, March 1,2023 -$0.50, March 1,2024 – $0.55 and a $500.00 lump sum on date of ratification.

There will be an additional wage adjustment for part-time workers who will move from $15.80 to $18.00 at date of ratification and top rate will be $20.00. Full -time will move from $17.25 to $19.00 on date of ratification and top rate will be $22.00.

Maintenance moves from $31.80 to $37.00 and to $39.00 for dual ticket with a top rate of $40.62.  There are additional wage increases for 11 members amounting to $1.50 to $5.01 per hour. The Night shift Premium will increase from $0.75 to $1.50 per hour.

In the event of plant closure severance was negotiated to be paid at one week of regular pay for each year of continuous service starting with the 1st year worked, an improvement from the previous starting point of the 3rd year and up to a maximum of 26 years.
