On Sunday, your union attended a rally at Queen’s park to protest the changes to the province’s personal leave laws which unfairly punishes workers in the auto sector.  Our members who work at Dresden Industrial in Ridgetown are affected by this unfair law, and some of them attended the rally on Sunday to show their discontent.

Under the new labour laws, everyone except auto workers, are granted 10 days of emergency leave, which includes sick time, plus three days for bereavement, two days of which will be paid.

Tell the government that auto workers in this province deserve the same protection under Ontario’s Employment Standards Act as other workers by signing this online petition today!
