Regency Plastics ratifies

Regency Plastics ratifies wage and premium increases as well as improved language in new contract.

Regency Plastics members in Vaughan ratified a five-year agreement on March 23, 2024 with general wage increases of 9.75% over the term of the agreement.

The night shift premium will increase by 40 cents over the term of the agreement.

Language improvements include:

• The boot allowance will increase to $175.00 annually up from $150.00 with the added ability to purchase a second pair of boots annually if needed; a significant achievement for these workers.
• There will be an additional bereavement day for non-immediate family members for employees with over 10 years of service.
• A change to hours of work and overtime language will increase pay to 10 hours up from 9.6 hours.
• A letter of understanding will be added re: Pay Equity.
