Pepsi warehouse workers in Sudbury achieve 3-year deal

The 32 Members of UFCW Local 175 employed at Pepsi in Sudbury ratified a new agreement on October 19, 2017.

UFCW Locals 175 & 633 Pepsi Sudbury Negotiating Committee October 2017In addition to monetary and language improvements, the committee also secured an additional full-time run job posting for Sault Ste. Marie.

Wages increases over the term of the contract by $1.10 per hour. In addition, members receive a lump sum payment of $500 in the first year, and another $350 lump sum in the second year. Other monetary improvements provide an enhanced work boot allowance of $175, up from $150.

Language improvements address bereavement entitlement, and the employer will pay for drivers’ exams and test fees now. In addition, the employer will contribute $500 per year toward the UFCW Local 175 Training & Education Fund.
