Pepsi Kenora members ratify

Members at Pepsi Beverages Canada in Kenora ratified a new agreement recently.

Wages will increase by a total of $1.40 per hour over the three-year term. Plus, all members receive a lump sum payment of $250 in the first year as well. The cap on daily rates improves to $17, up from $15. In addition, the extended run premium for Merchandisers improves to $22.50, up from $20. Similarly, Maintenance and Helpers premiums go up to $12.50, up from $10.

The employer will pay 100% of the cost for the employee’s Long-Term Disability (LTD) premiums, which provides a 35% care benefit. Employees have the option of topping up the benefit at their own discretion as well.

Members will receive reimbursement from the employer for the costs of license renewals and medical examinations required for the AZ/DZ license.

Members at Pepsi Kenora ratified the three-year agreement at a meeting on October 29, 2019.
