At age 15, Roy started in the meat business with his dad and hasn’t stopped; until now. Roy has retired from metro Elmvale after 40 years in the business. He just turned 65 and plans working on his house and visiting the grandchildren. We wish Roy a happy retirement.

Anna Fucec – Metro #106
Anna started at A&P #106 in April 1988 as a deli clerk, where she worked until her retirement on September 17, 2018. Her personality just can’t keep her away so she decided to stay as a part-time employee. She is the proud grandmother to two beautiful girls and now that she is semi-retired, she has devoted her time to them. Enjoy your retirement Anna.
Debbie Sargent – Metro #46
Debbie started in July 1978 at Metro #46, where she worked for 40 years. In her retirement Debbie says she will enjoy helping out with her grandchildren. Congratulations Debbie.
Diane Salick – Metro Ogilvie
Diane retired on February 1, 2018 from Metro Ogilvie where she worked for 19 years, but Diane worked in the meat industry for 40 years of her life. She has always been a proud union member and is already missing the interaction with her fellow union sister, brothers, friends and customers that she grew to know and bond with over the years. Her retirement plans are to relax at home before anything else and then to eventually travel around the globe. She now has the extra time to babysit her grandkids which she enjoys very much. All the best in your retirement Diane.
