New collective agreement for North Bay Quality Inn members

The members in North Bay at Quality Inn ratified a new four-year agreement on March 3, 2022. Wage increases will see a minimum wage plus grid with gains for all classifications and no cap on end rate. Members will also receive lump sums of $150.00 for full time and $100.00 for part time.

New language will provide for sick pay for part-time, improvements in the bereavement leave and minimum call in, regular full-time days off and shift preference by seniority. There will be guarantees included in the agreement for maintaining the staff lunch room and stewards will be provided with an opportunity to meet with new hires.
