More than $23,000 raised for the LLSC at the annual Hockey Tournament

On Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7th the Annual Skate for a Cure Hockey Tournament once again proved to be great fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC).
This year’s event raised more than $23,000!
Players included members from Sofina Foods, Sobeys Milton, Maple Leaf Heritage, Good Humor, Zehrs Windsor, Jadee Meats and Local 175.
Congratulations to the team from Sofina Foods who took the trophy for tournament champs, beating out Sobeys Milton 4-3 in overtime, in an exciting final game.
Marco Tomei from Sobeys Milton Retail Support Centre was awarded the trophy for least number of goals allowed by a goaltender and Jay Catena awarded the player with the most goals scored in the tournament.
