Members at Pepsi in Essex ratify a three-year deal

The members at PepsiCo Beverages Canada in Essex ratified a three-year agreement on September 25, 2021. Increases will include in Year 1 – $0.45, Year 2 – $0.55 and in Year 3 – $0.60

Pension improvements include an increase of $1.00 per month in year 1 to $58.00 per month per year of service and an increase of $1.00 per month in year 2 to $59.00 per month per year of service.

There will be a $35.00 increase to the Boot allowance and a $30.00 increase to the Tool allowance.

Language improvement will see the guarantee call in time reflect 10 hour and 8 hours shifts. Members will receive 5 hours pay for 10-hour shifts and 4 hours pay for 8-hour shifts. If an employee is laid off for a day early in the week, that employee can work their day off later in the week, before the employer can use temp workers.
