Massey Wholesale Ltd ratifies new agreement

On May 7, 2022 the members in Massey, Ontario at Massey Wholesale Ltd. ratified a new three-year agreement with wage increases of:  Office and Warehouse:  Year 1 – 2.75%, Year 2 – 2.75% and Year 3 – 2.75%. Drivers: Year 1 – 5% Year 2 – 5.5% and Year 3 – 6.0%.

The RRSP matching contribution will increase to 4% up from 3%. Vision care allowance will be increased to $300 up from $200 and eye exams will be covered for amounts up to $150 up from $100.

Members will see an increase to the number of allowed sick days to six up from three. The safety shoe allowance increased and will now be $250 up from $150, and it will now take less time to achieve entitlement to vacation weeks. Members will be eligible for seven weeks of vacation after 25 years.

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation will be recognized as a stat for all members.
