Maple Leaf – Courtney Park members ratify

Maple Leaf Foods, Courtney Park in Mississauga ratifies new five-year agreement.

Members will see increases of $.35 in year 1 and $.40 in years 2,3,4 & $.45 in 5.  Maintenance increases are $.45 in 1 and $.55 in year 2, $40 in year 3, $.50 year 4 and $.55 in year 5. The night and afternoon shift premium will see an improvement of $.05 in 2021.

Members will also receive a lump sum signing bonus. The union was also successful in negotiating an enhanced lump sum payment where each member’s amount will be increased by approximately $150 per person. The lump sum is paid retroactive.

New language was negotiated to address the line speed and also work life balance for employees.
