Leuschen Transportation in Timmins ratifies.

A three-year agreement was ratified by the members at Leuschen Transportation in Timmins on September 1, 2021. This deal required the services of mediation, but we were able to secure significant increases as follows:
Drivers – July 1, 2020 $.56, August 15, 2021 $.37 and August 15, 2022 $.53 paid retroactive.
Monitors – July 1, 2020 $.50, August 15, 2021 $.32 and August 15, 2022 $.32 paid retroactive.
Mechanics – July 1, 2020 $.25, August 15, 2021 $.50 and August 15, 2022 $.50 paid retroactive.
Mechanic Apprentices will receive same increase as mechanics for the term of the CBA.
Language improvements include the clarification of the route bidding procedure and arbitration language that will now permit the arbitrator to rule on more than one grievance at a time. Language will now provide for stewards to meet with new hires to provide information.
